Ed Chee, CBA is well known for his innovations and creative techniques that produce very detailed sculptures.
Ed began his balloon career over twenty years ago as a twister. He gained prominence in the early 2000’s when he started competing in, and winning, industry competitions.
Ed obtained his CBA designation in 2003 and expanded beyond balloon entertainment into balloon décor. He was a pioneer in 2004, when he began incorporating twisting skills into décor creations. He has travelled around the world teaching twisting as an element of décor (“deco-twisting”). In recent years, Ed has gained prominence for his wide variety of original weaving techniques, and their application to balloon fashion.
His company, DiamondStorm Inc., produces educational DVD’s for the balloon industry – showcasing not only his techniques, but also those of many prominent artists in the industry.
